Cutting down of Christmas Trees

Port Moody, BC • Saturday, Dec 7

In past years, we cut the trees on a weekday in late December. Many people wanted to help, but they could not take a day off work. This year we changed it to Saturday, Dec 7 so more helpers could join. The forecast also called for a snowy winter, so we wanted to finish early, before it got any colder.

This year, some older PREP kids came to watch and help with simple tasks. It was a good chance for the boys to see the Knights plan the work, use tools safely, and serve the parish as a team.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of many Brother Knights, the trees are up!
